Core Ingredients

All our BrainZyme brain food supplements contain the following core ingredients:

Matcha Green Tea Powder: This is a form of green tea, used for thousands of years, where specially selected whole green tea leaves are ground down to a superfine powder, delivering compounds associated with health and increased focus such as caffeine and theanine.

Guarana Fruit Seeds:  Guarana is a plant native to the Amazonian region.  Its seeds contain natural caffeine which is released in a sustained manner, providing alertness throughout the day, and can provide numerous cognitive benefits.

Choline: An important nutrient that is helpful for brain health and a precursor to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, found in various foods including broccoli and kidney beans.

Vitamins & Minerals

There are also complementary vitamins and minerals in BrainZyme which help to maintain good cognitive health and function.  These are:

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid)

Vitamin B5 contributes to normal mental performance and synthesis of some neurotransmitters, and is also linked to digestive health and helping the body use its stored fats and carbohydrates in usual energy-yielding metabolism. It can thus help increase energy and keep your brain working properly.

Vitamin B6 (Pyroxidine)

Pyroxidine contributes to the metabolism of amino acids, glucose and lipids. It also helps the synthesis of some neurotransmitters such as histamine, meaning it can help energy and also support cognition.

Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin)

This essential nutrient is strongly linked with maintaining normal function of the brain and nervous system, as well as helping the human metabolism run, contributing to energy and normal psychological function.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)

Thiamine is needed for normal carbohydrate metabolism, as well as helping your body generate ATP, which your cells use for energy. It can also help mental alertness, as it helps regulate levels of pyruvic acid in the body.

Iron is essential for normal oxygen transfer from blood, and many people can be deficient in this. Iron is also important for proper cognitive function and blood supply to the brain.

Both cognitive function and DNA synthesis are heavily affected by zinc. It’s also used in a whole host of bodily functions, so it’s a very important mineral.

Iodine is important for normal development of the brain and regular cognitive function. It’s also important for regular function of the thyroid, and is found in significant amounts in cerebrospinal fluid.
